Job Description
-Lead the marketing strategies and annual marketing plan(s) to increase brand awareness and deliver the business plan for Wholesale and Licensee business.

  • Formulate Japan marketing strategies and annual marketing plan(s) to increase brand awareness and deliver the business plan for Wholesale and Licensee business.
  • Develop and lead integrate marketing campaign (incl. Advertising, PR, Digital, Trade Marketing, VM, Training) to support and drive sales in and sell out.
  • Liaise with HQ for new product launch prepare target analysis, consumer research, ATL & BTL communication package, and launch / sustaining activities.
  • Work on the merchandising forecast, assortments, pricing and pricing revision
  • Supervise brand marketing & trade marketing programs execution against the measurements of success (ROI)
  • Develop pipeline of talents within marketing function & support commercial capability for brand in Japan;
  • Budget control and maximization.
  • Establish effective testing and measurement of program success (ROI)
  • Ensures effective two-way communication between local market and the Central marketing/merchandising team
  • Provide Customer service/ after sales support for DBDJ (manage Import/export management to / from HQ, handling complaints)

  • Qualifications
    -Minimum 10 years Marketing & PR experience, both boutiques and distribution channels.
  • Minimum 5 years in people-management role.
  • Experienced understanding of marketing in retail/Wholesale/License environment
  • Inspiring leadership style on client and internal team
  • Delivers performance based on budget and profitability measures
  • Very seasoned media relations in local market
  • Solid network with key editors, influencers
  • Differentiates and delivers brand USP (unique selling proposition) via Marketing and PR
  • Agency and/or brand experience (consumer practise preferred)
  • Must have experience of working on an in-house luxury brand as a minimum
