Job Purpose:
To provide the highest level of VIP customer service to passengers, crews, and guests at all times. To work in the Fuels Department, delivering all fuel services; ensuring all services are provided to our customers in a safe and professional manner. Be the face of the business providing world class service to our customers whilst ensuring a smooth transition from the start to finish of our customers journey and flights with Signature Flight Support. On time performance and safety is the team’s number one priority.
Main Responsibilities:
You will be required to refuel aircraft to acceptable industry standards and to all the relevant requirements of government authorities with respect to safety, training, security, fire prevention, stock control and environmental protection. Successful candidate will be required to ensure that all consignments of aviation fuel are received and maintained in complete conformity with the requirements of the agreed specifications, that on-specification fuel is always delivered to aircraft and that the operations are carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
You will conduct daily vehicle checks and carry out the designated quality control procedures and identify and report any defects. Work closely with all other departments to ensure a good working knowledge of the base. Deliver a world class on time performance to all customers and crew.
You will also assist the day to day operations of the base, provide exceptional customer service to all passengers, visitors and crew in line with the Signature Service Programme. This will include carrying out ramp services as required for the operation, providing assistance to crews and liaising with ground handling services where necessary as directed by the customer and General Manager.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Valid driving license with LGV C+E is essential; ADR & CPC is highly desirable.
- The ability to maintain high levels of awareness in relation to Health, Safety, Security, and the Environment is crucial in all tasks.
- A calm approach to problem solving, last minute changes and ability to work accurately under pressure.
- A customer orientated approach with strong customer service skills.
- Full job understanding and safety awareness.
- Ability to communicate credibly across all levels of the Company.
- Basic IT skills.
- Flexibility of start and finish times within the shift pattern & a willingness to work occasional overtime (particularly in busy periods) is highly desirable.
